.The show will have two seasons, each with thirteen, 22-minute episodes designed for VOD (video on demand) viewing.
.Season one will premiere early next year, followed by season two in fall 2016.
.The Winx will go undercover to find kids with talent in art, sports, music, and science. But a "dangerous mystery" will complicate their search.
.The target audience is 8 - 12 year old, the same age group Rainbow was aiming for while developing Winx Club season one.
.The show takes place on Earth instead of the Magic Dimension. The setting is described as "urban and metropolitan."
.The show will feature "a completely different artistic look and feel, brand-new characters, and more thrilling and mysterious plot twists not commonly found in the classic series."
.According to Cristiana Buzzelli, Rainbow's Vice President of Content, Netflix did not "enter the creative process on scripts, characters, or plot lines." In other words, they did not help write the show.
.Rainbow wants to make Winx Club WOW a separate franchise. They are already building a licensing program for it.

Rainbow Reps shared the name of the 13 episodes of the 1st season of "World of Winx". But before, the series will release in Autumn.

Gianni Nunnari’s Hollywood Gang is teaming with Italian animation studio Rainbow Group on a live-action “Winx Club” movie.
The “Winx Club” television series, which launched in 2003, is set in a magical dimension at the Alfea College, a school for fairies in all the realms, and centered on a girl named Bloom. She and her fairy friends form the Winx Club.
“It’s a charming, magical, infectiously empowering and hip series,” said Hollywood Gang president Nunnari. “We are tremendously excited to bring the live-action feature of this international sensation to the big screen for the world to enjoy.”
Netflix recently announced it ordered two seasons of programming in 2016 for a “Winx Club” animated spin-off series; the original “Winx” series ran on Nickelodeon for five years.
Nunnari, who is based at Warner Bros., is best known for producing the “300” films and exec producing “The Departed.” He’s currently developing “Robotech,” “Dante’s Inferno,” “Napoleon” and “A Willing Patriot.” Production is also under way on Hollywood Gang’s recently announced 10-episode series “Start Up,” starring Martin Freeman and Adam Brody for Crackle.
Rainbow Group has three Canadian animation studios, two in Italy and subsidiaries in Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
